FWDR offers comprehensive mold removal services, ensuring a safe and thorough cleanup to protect your property and health. Our experienced team uses advanced techniques to effectively eliminate mold and prevent future issues.  We construct temporary enclosures or compartments, so any contaminants are contained, captured and disposed of.  These compartments are kept filtered during the entire process.  The use of a third-party testing agent is usually preferred so mold samples can be tested in a lab and specifically identified.  Also, these professionals provide a specific protocol to contain, treat and verify the area is mold free is upon completion.

Fire Damage Restoration

In a structure fire, the first 24 hours after a fire are a critical time. Fast action by a qualified fire damage restoration company is vital to put a stop to the secondary damage caused by the smoke, heat and water from the fire suppression efforts.

As for wildfire, in addition to direct fire, smoke and heat damage, the soot and other contamination can cause severe damage to materials and surfaces even if they are not directly contacted by fire.

Kitchen and other specific fires can spread residue throughout an entire building causing long lasting odors and leaving residue if not cleaned or neutralized.

Our Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration Services & Procedure

First, in an emergency water damage situation, we will dispatch technicians to the location to commence mitigation and stabilization measures. This may include building temporary enclosures to isolate the affected area, extracting any standing water, placing air cleaning and filtering equipment, moving or protecting furniture and contents, and performing selective demolition to allow plumbing or other repairs of the emergency water damage source. At this point, a Project Manager will assess the entire scope of the damage to your property to see exactly what needs to be done and provide an estimate of cost and schedule. The drying process varies based on the amount of moisture saturation in the various materials and the environmental conditions.

In cases of fire, we can dispatch emergency responders to board-up and secure your property from further damage or other risks. We will then assess your property to discover the extent to which fire, smoke, soot, heat and moisture have impacted both building materials and contents, and we will also inspect for safety and health issues.

For mold cases, an in-person inspection is necessary because mold often spreads and affects concealed or associated areas. Having a mold test conducted by an independent testing agency is always recommended. Identifying the specific type of mold and having a healthcare professional write the clean-up procedures, as well as providing post-cleaning testing, is the best practice for the homeowner.

For all projects, we keep thorough documentation including photos, samples, and reports we can send to your insurance adjuster, as needed, to process the insurance claim quickly and seamlessly.
