Cleaning vs. Disinfecting
All surfaces will need to be cleaned prior to applying disinfectant. Fire and Water Damage Recovery will prepare an estimate to clean your facility. Cleaning is accomplished by physically wiping surfaces to clean and remove visible soils. Disinfecting kills viruses on surfaces or objects. Disinfecting works by using EPA registered chemicals to wet surfaces and allowing contact/dwell time to kill the virus in compliance with CDC guidelines.
Fire and Water Damage Recovery will work with a manufacturing partner where disinfectant application programs have been developed.
Risk Management
A risk assessment of each location will be completed to assess risk of contamination
Risk Assessment Levels
Low (Preventative) Risk score: 3 or Less
For locations scoring 3 or less, normal cleaning services are recommended. If a client would like *enhanced additional disinfection application services, we can perform those services as requested. For protection of our technicians, PPE will be mandated
